Answering your Q&A questions!

Last week, I did a Q&A on Instagram. Keep reading to learn my responses to the questions. Enjoy!

1. If you can teach everyone in the world just one thing, what would you teach them?

Oooh solid question! Upon reflection, my answer is something that can’t be taught as much as guided towards: Consciousness

In other words, the ability to create space between you and your thoughts, so you can become all the more wiser as you go through life.

I believe that at the core, increased consciousness will help minimise the majority of individual and worldwide problems (Hence my career change to now do what I do)

2. What was your key takeaway from the public speaking course?

The power of storytelling. Which is a reminder of how we humans will always crave authentic, deep human connection!

3. If someone comes to you with a problem, how do you guide them if they are not prepared for a solution?

Do my best within my role in that scenario… Which is to inspire and give guidance, so the person has more resources to utilise. But ultimately, it will always be up to them to enact that solution!

4. How often do you review your goals?

I have a weekly creation system (Adapted from Robin Sharma’s system) that I go through every Sunday

In a brief summary, I start by revisiting my life’s mission + legacy I want to leave. That gets me clear and fired up!

From there, I work backward to reconnect with my 12-month outcomes, then set outcomes for the next week

5. How can I build more confidence speaking about my opinion?

There are many ways to achieve this, but the first thing you need to do is internal. Get to know yourself to the point that you can easily identify your values, beliefs, outcomes, etc. (You get to do this in my course ‘Power Your Potential’)

And when you are THAT clear on yourself you’ll be able to confidently speak your opinion even when others disagree or judge you

6. I want to become an entrepreneur instead of my 9-5, and I’m not sure where to start. Any tips?

It’s going to be different for everyone. For me, I started by getting clear on my ultimate purpose, so that I’d have an unwavering pull to fulfill this. Then, I utilized the power of social media to get the business going whilst still in an employed role!

7. What do you recommend for people to stop overthinking?

There are so many ways to achieve this. One is to get out in nature. Who doesn’t feel calm after spending a day at the beach or going for a hike?

I believe nature brings us back to the simplicity of life, and diminishes the emphasis we often put on the little squabbles that don’t matter.

8. You always talk about purpose and I’m jealous I don’t know mine. Where can I get started?

Firstly, just know that you don’t need to find your purpose 🙂 You need to connect to what’s already within you, as well as CREATE purpose.

Ask yourself:

  • What are the big things that I need to achieve before I die?
  • Who do I want to become during my time on this earth?
  • What impact do I want my existence to have on the greater world?

Hit reply and let me know what you think of these. I’d love to hear!
