The Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that 20% of small businesses fail in their first year
50% fail by their 5th year
And 70% by their 10th year
This is actually why I don’t advocate for you quitting your job so that you can start and go all in on your business idea
Ultimately, it’s up to you what you do, and of course, quitting and going all in can still work (I’ve had clients do that!)
But, understand that you don’t HAVE to
Taking a graduated approach to business and away from your job doesn’t mean you’re any less serious about it
It just means you’re being strategic
Most of my clients do it in that way, which allows them more security and enjoyment of the process, which is key in creating its initial and long-term success
This is one of the many concepts I share in today’s new podcast episode ‘But What If My Business Doesn’t Work Out?’.
Specifically, learn how you can shift your mindset to override your inner voice of doubt, as well as strategy-based steps so you can maximise your chances of turning your side hustle into a full-time business!
