How to prevent burnout as a female entrepreneur

TRUE STORY: Many years ago, I was so overworked that I micro-napped at the wheel and rear-ended the car in front of me…
It was a rude awakening. I was like ‘Wtf am I doing… Since when did I start to put success above my own enjoyment of life and… My actual life?!’

However, I wasn’t alone. It could be said that society is set up to encourage the hustle and eventual burnout. The constant stimulation, bids for our attention, reward for work and disparagement for rest, racing towards the invisible finish-line of success…

So how can us female entrepreneurs prevent burnout?
1. Create polarity between work and rest

I don’t believe there is such a thing as overworking: Only under-recovery. Work hard, but ensure your recovery mirrors the level that you work
2. Rest in totality

If you’re lying in bed but getting worked-up over something on social media or stressing over your finances, then are you truly resting? To truly rejuvenate your being, rest needs to be physical but also mental and emotional
3. Create a schedule with a solid structure and boundaries

This will reduce decision-making, which is a major source of energy drainage. Imagine how much mental load you can take off yourself when you get to wake up and just follow your calendar

For number 4, 5 & 6: Listen to the full podcast episode for the rest hehe. It’s a juicy one… And extremely important!

Would love to hear what you think 🙂
