October was my biggest revenue month for 2024, even though I worked very little compared to usual.
(I mean, last month alone, I partied, socialised, had my heart broken, moved countries, and was quite sick! WOT EVEN!)
Firstly, even though I don’t usually talk about my business revenue that much (It’s simply not the most valuable information I could share with you, nor is it why I do what I do), there have been three big lessons that I’d love to give you insight about.
1. Even though I worked less in October than usual, I spent time working on my sense of self and identity as a worthy business
I had two 1:1 calls with my coach, Ivy Malik. She asked me hard questions that were so awakening that I was in tears. Through immense discomfort, I was given the opportunity to face some inner doubts that I had been ignoring and that were silently festering.
And due to those calls, I leant into discomfort. Instead of just saying, ‘one day’, I jumped into it. I did things like raise my prices. I launched new offers. I sold these new offers with complete conviction.
Lesson 1: Just because we’re busy working ON or IN our business, doesn’t mean we’re doing the work that will move the needle in our business the most.
Remember to always be INTENTIONAL about the 20% of our input that will make 80% of the inroads in results (The Pareto Principle)

2. Upon returning from two months of travel and time away from the business, I spent two weeks doing nothing but refining my brand and message. I was initially scared to add ‘Speaking coaching’ to my repertoire, but for various reasons, I knew it would only help my clients more and play to one of my greatest strengths/skills.
Because of that, I launched a new workshop and group program for speaking skills, leading to an influx of enquiries and sign-ups.
Lesson 2: People are not drawn to what you’ve always done; they are drawn to your natural zone of genius and what is most aligned with you right now.
Maybe you haven’t been doing something for a long time, but if you have mastered something BTS and you ooze a complete passion for that thing, people will be drawn to that! So even if it’s the first time launching your new brand or offer, it can absolutely still be a 5+ figure launch!

3. I’ve invested 30k in my own speaking training over the last few years, and I’ve worked consistently on my business since 2016.
So even though I took two whole months off from work earlier this year to travel Europe and the Maldives, and in October, even though I partied, socialised, had my heart broken, moved countries, and was quite sick, none of it impacted my business’s readiness to attract dream clients and make $$!!
Lesson 3: Our results today are simply a delayed reflection of what we did six months ago, not to mention, six years ago. Don’t work today expecting results today. Instead, create the expectation to work without ANY reward or validation. And then, you can expect that when you’re least expecting results or when you’re working the least, BAM, all the results will happen all at once!
