Am I a Natural Speaker?

So many people say I’m a natural and confident speaker.

But if I were, then why was I so quiet that I had no friends in early schooling? Why would I spend lunchtime alone or only with my sister?

None of us are born natural speakers.

No. It’s something we LEARN to do.

Especially owning our voice with confidence not JUST with friends or in 1:1 situations, but even with strangers or standing in front of a group!

And in our businesses, when networking or on a stage, it’s almost always with people who are unfamiliar to us.

We need to improvise, develop a real connection, articulate our words clearly with authenticity, try to be funny and more.

And where so many of us hope to automatically get better over time, how will we get better if we don’t:

  1. RECOGNISE where we are lagging in our skills to address those specific areas?
  2. Have a controlled space to intentionally REHEARSE our speaking delivery in front of a group and get personalised feedback to continually improve?

I’ve been through this journey naturally over my life, and dedicated myself to the art of speaking training (I’ve invested 30k over the last 5 years on this)

And I want to share what I know with you.

There are only THREE days left for the early bird special for Voice for Impact, online 6-week speaking ‘boot camp’ for personal brands to transform their speaking for confidence, visibility, and influence in their businesses and on stages.

We start on November 5 with weekly workshops to learn the skills of speaking, practice, get personalised feedback on your delivery, and pick my brain on all things speaking, TEDx, standing out as a brand, and more!
