Guess what, I turn 29 today, babyyyyy! 🥳
As 30 approaches, I want to highlight this:
Us women are told that we should get good grades in school, graduate so we can get into uni, get a good job, buy a house, and get married so we can become a mum…
Oh and we should do it before we’re 30 otherwise we risk falling behind, & becoming a failure
No wonder we are petrified about turning 30.
But here’s the thing: I’ve lived that pedalstool life…
I’ve experienced ‘married life’ within a 10-year relationship. We had a suburban family home, two dogs, and stability.
I loved it & I was happy
But it’s not the ONLY way to be happy.
