I’ve recently been asked whether or not I guarantee paid speaking gigs as part of my coaching, and this is my answer:
A swimming coach will not guarantee her athlete that she will make the Olympics.
She cannot make that guarantee because that is out of her control.
The output is out of our control. What we can control is the input.
So in my eyes, guaranteeing something like that is gimmicky because that’s not the real game.
People can’t expect to become a doctor or an Olympian instantaneously just because they want to. They need to build up to it. They need to spend the years hustling, dedicating themselves to the craft and vigorously applying themselves.
So what I can guarantee is I will guarantee you that I will give you everything that I have and I know. I’ll give you my complete devotion as a coach. I’ll give you all of the resources, all of the systems that have been proven to work for my other clients.
Success leaves behind patterns and these patterns are what have been proven to work.
And then ultimately, it’s up to you to take what I’ve given you and implement it, so that you can get the results that you want!
So, you can expect that I won’t guarantee that sexy result, BUT, you can expect that I will keep it real with you.
And maybe that’s exactly the type of support that will get you to where to you want to go!!
